a huge break: new goals

Oh gosh the last time I blogged was Dec 23rd!!! Has it really been that long? I know I did a few workouts inbetween but then it just got so busy. Luckily I worked out before 10 days came to pass. But I *do* feel the difference from witholding exercise. Nonetheless I did some activity, like playing in the snow and countless chores.. it has to count for something!

Now I have new goals for this year:

Priority: have a deeper connection with my higher power GOAL: I will take more time each week to pray and meditate
Priority: to make a good impression at my placement to secure a job GOAL: I will humble myself, work diligently, study hard, and listen carefully to all my preceptor has to teach me.
Priority: Maintain a bond with my sister GOAL: I will make time each week to play a game with her 
Priority: Maintain my relationships with my parents GOAL: I will make time each week to sit and talk to each parent
Priority: Eat healthy food GOAL: I will continue makng the grocery list for each week and preparing a full days worth of food for my placements. I will also bring my shakeology and magic bullet with me to work in order to make it in the lunch room. 
Priority: Maintain my exercise regimen and continue to train my heart I will commit to a minimum of 4 days a week of exercise. I will wake up early if need be, or exercise after work. But I will find the time. I will schedule it in along with my work schedule.
Priority: Stay sick free GOAL: I will wash my hands every time I enter a room, do a procedure and leave a room. I will continue to bring my extra change of clothes and I will also bring body wipes to clean myself before changing into clean clothes. I will use proper PPE.
Priority: Remember why I went into Nursing goal: once a week reflect on why I am in this practice and journal it.
Priority: Treat really horrible people with mercy GOAL: Pray for those who persecute, frustrate or treat me badly. Pray blessings upon them. Treat them with respect.

Priority: Graduate GOAL: Study, relax, study, endure.

so far I have been keeping to these. I got up and prayed, exercised, ate healthy food, will again soon. I am feeling capable and ready to take on this year!
